Brick Squad Monopoly is a record label founded by rapper Waka Flocka Flame. It is a subsidiary label of 1017 Brick Squad Records (record label).
Brick Squad Monopoly[]
Waka Flocka Flame founded Brick Squad Monopoly also known as "BSM" in 2011 when he and manager Gucci Mane deicide it was time to expand the label. Waka would later sign a disturbution deal with his record label 1017 Brick Squad Records and his management company Mizay Entertainment. Waka signed artist from his child hood such as Slim Dunkin, Wooh Da Kid and Bo Deal. On December 16, 2011, Slim Dunkin was shot and killed at an Atlanta recording studio preparing to shoot a music video. He was shot while arguing with another person in the building, who has been identified as another Atlanta rapper, Young Vito. A Day after the death of Slim Waka signed rapper Yung Joey to BSM. In early 2012 Waka signed Tennessee native Swader Dinero to the Elite Squad his debut mixtape entitled 'I AM LEGEND' seen big numbers.
Brick Squad Monopoly West[]
On the 21 October 2011 Waka announced his Partnership With former Deathrow Records CEO Suge Knight to create Brick Squad Monopoly West which will be located in Inglewood, California. Knight was also granted the position of President of BSMW.Artists signed to BSMW are YG Hootie, P Smurf, Joe Moses and Ice Burgandy.Suge has currently arranged an agreement with rapper/singer Akon to sign Konvict rapper A-Wax to Brick Squad Monopoly West in a joint venture.
