Ixplicit has come a long way from where he initially started off his career. He came to Canada at the age of 7 and was raised in Toronto. Ixplicit states that his original inspiration for writing poetry came from his grandfather, who played a significant role in his life. Ixplicit was bullied as a child and found the art of freestyle battle rap to be his way of standing up for himself, he earned his name by the people around him for being so graphic and raw in his lyrics, they relate directly to his own life stories and the elements of the environment that surrounds him. People found his wordplay to be extraordinary and incredibly relatable. His confidence increased as he began to take part in more concerts and shows at different parties or occasions, Ixplicit began making a name for himself. Coming up was a tough, rugged, and bumpy road for Ixplicit, as when he began high school he got caught up in making money to invest into his dream, but with a hefty criminal record, he wasn’t able to get a job like other teenagers his age, the only way of making that money was by hustling. Ixplicit made numerous underground mixtape’s without the help of anybody else as he always believed only he has the ability to make his dream a reality, and he knew you only get out when you put in. This is what you hear in his mixtape "One Man Army" . Ixplicit struggled and continued to pursue his passion, regardless of all the negativity that surrounded him. Many people knew Ixplicit as the rap artist by the corner store selling his mixtape’s with other contraband that he was hustling. There is much to be known about the extensive journey Ixplicit had before he got to the point he is at today. Ixplicit began rapping at the age of 10, he never stopped believing in himself and after 10 years of hard work, sacrifice and dedication, he was discovered. Ixplicit has a very unique and distinctive sound, he has a pin point accurate flow, he is versatile, his lyrics are deep and well thought out, and he makes the catchiest hooks.
