The N.W.A. was an American hip hop group formed in 1986 from Los Angeles, California. It originally consisted of Ice Cube, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, MC Ren & DJ Yella. Their debut album, Straight Outta Compton, was released in 1988. In 1990, Ice Cube left the group over royalty disputes. The remaining members of the group then released their second album "Niggaz4Life" (also known as "Efil4zaggin). The following year, Dr. Dre left the group and started Death Row Records with Suge Knight.
