Jesse Lindsay Matiu (born December 13, 1997) professionally known as OverdoseBeatz is a New Zealand music producer. He is an aspiring New Zealand Music Producer / Designer who began creating music at the age of 11, He was influenced by early trap artists such as Zaytoven, Young Chop, Chief Keef and Gucci Mane to start creating music of his own, his first major project was OD Collective 2, featuring artists such as Charlie Shuffler, Kay P, RayAyy and ISO Beats. He is a verified Spotify artist whose music is available on international music platforms such as Deezer, Amazon music, Apple music, Tidal ect.
Early Life[]
Jesse Lindsay Matiu was born in Whangarei, New Zealand, on December 13, 1997. He is of English and Maori descent and grew up in the rural area of Waiotira.
OverdoseBeatz said he grew up listening to Zaytoven, Gucci Mane and Chief keef, which inspired him to create music of his own. His first producer name was overdo$e, but later changed it to OverdoseBeatz. He attended Tauraroa Area school in Whangarei, New Zealand.
